Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with PhotoGenProMax. This policy explains when refunds are available.

1. Digital Goods

Credits are digital goods delivered instantly when you pay. Once credits are in your account, you can use them right away.

Because of instant delivery, all sales are generally final. However, we handle special situations fairly as described below.

2. For EU Customers

EU consumers normally have a 14-day "cooling-off" period for online purchases. However, for digital content like credits:

  • By purchasing, you agree that delivery starts immediately
  • You acknowledge this means you give up the cooling-off right once credits are delivered

Exception: If you haven't used ANY credits from your purchase, contact us within 14 days and we may still process a refund.

3. When We Will Refund

Technical Problems

  • Duplicate charges: You were charged twice for one purchase
  • Credits not delivered: Payment went through but credits didn't appear (and we can't fix it)
  • Major outage: Service was down for more than 24 hours and you couldn't use your credits

Unauthorized Purchases

  • Someone used your payment method without permission
  • Your account was hacked and someone made purchases

Service Shutdown

If we shut down PhotoGenProMax permanently, we'll refund unused credits purchased in the last 6 months.

4. When We Won't Refund

  • Used credits: Once you've generated images with credits, those credits can't be refunded
  • Not happy with results: AI results vary — we can't refund because you didn't like an image
  • Changed your mind: Deciding you don't want credits anymore
  • Can't use the service: Personal reasons that prevent you from using the service
  • Account banned: If we terminated your account for breaking the rules

5. How to Request a Refund

Email us at support@photogenpromax.com with:

  1. Your account email
  2. Purchase date
  3. Order ID (from your Polar.sh receipt)
  4. Why you're requesting a refund
  5. Screenshots if relevant

What Happens Next

  • We'll respond within 2 business days
  • We'll decide within 5 business days
  • If approved, Polar.sh processes the refund in 5-10 business days
  • Your bank may take additional time to show the refund

Partial Refunds

If you've used some credits but not all, we may offer a partial refund for the unused ones.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact us first before disputing a charge with your bank. We can usually resolve issues faster than the chargeback process.

If you file a chargeback without talking to us first:

  • Your account will be suspended while we investigate
  • If the chargeback is unjustified, your account may be permanently closed

7. About Polar.sh

Polar.sh is our payment processor (Merchant of Record):

  • Charges show as "Polar.sh" on your bank statement
  • They handle refund processing
  • Refunds include any taxes you paid (VAT, sales tax, etc.)

8. Free and Promotional Credits

Free credits from signups, promotions, or referrals:

  • Have no cash value
  • Cannot be refunded
  • Are used before purchased credits

9. Trial Pack

The Trial Pack is a discounted offer for new users. It's generally non-refundable unless there was a technical problem.

10. Your Consumer Rights

Consumer protection laws vary by country. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under local law that can't be waived. If you have questions about your rights in your location, please contact us.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes won't affect refund requests already made. We'll update the date above when changes occur.
